This  book is not and should not be treated as an academic manual. It is largely practical and inspirational. This book is not going to give you a specific decision for your dream career to start making a million bucks at it in the next few days.
This book will not do that for you because a massive amount of detail the equivalent of several encyclopedia would be required. None the less, many recommendations have been built-in to enable you discover and make the most of yourself. This book  places the question of career decisions into sharper focus.
In essence, this book is a general commentary and inspiration on career insights to inspire excellence in all humanity.

Stop Doing This – For the Sake of Your Image

We all want to be viewed as both valuable and reliable. At least these two cardinal qualities are the surest way of unlocking countless doors of earning and love. Without them, no one can command an admirable image worth reaping decent income and lasting relationships (which are key goals for most hardworking and diligent people – like you). However, to develop and demonstrate these qualities, there is something that one must stop doing.

The quality of your performance will be inferred from how well you accomplish your tasks. Don’t do things by halves; it is poisonous to your personality. Half finished work is a sign that either the work is very big for the worker or the worker is a little lousy and worthless for the job. Do a good job. Botched work, which is the worst enemy to good image, proclaims the weakness of the doer. In fact Henry Kaiser has a way of putting it; When Your Work Speaks For Itself, Don’t Interrupt.

At present in our generation, half finished work appears to be a familiar sight everywhere we go. Much is begun and little is accomplished. Why? Perhaps we lack enough dedication to the work at hand and so we believe that more tasks will cover up our emptiness and inadequacies. That is not true. It only wastes more time and resources. Incomplete work is just a bad legacy to your name. Don’t begin what you are not dedicated to finish.

You can aspire to be one great person rather than splitting yourself into many small ones. Don’t go on dispensing your energies on whatever takes your attention for a moment rather concentrate on a single valuable focus. A jack of all trades will soon lack a chance in this generation of stiff competition, quality, and precision. The world is looking for a man or a woman who can do a good job – who does not hide in excuses for their constant sloppiness.

Don’t Just Master The Tricks In Your Trade, Master The Trade Itself.

Now you must be asking; what must I stop doing? And I will answer you directly: stop claiming that you are an expert in what you don’t care to master, stop over promising and under delivering, stop trying to do everything before you have learnt how to do one, stop overcharging for poor quality, stop biting more than you can chew (getting more orders than you have time, energy and dedication to deliver). In a sentence, stop bluffing or passing off for what you are not.

Don’t exhibit ignorance of your life’s aim for long. The problem is not ignorance, but making a career of it is a disgrace! All people have some fields or subjects where they are ignorant, but then they can choose to learn and instantly change their mental status quo.

What you know is not as significant as the use you put your knowledge to. A person’s life, thoughts, desires and actions can never point steadily in any particular direction until he has been seized by a great master value. The value to work with might and main to give their best to what they say they will do. And remember, this incredible life value is not to be looked for allover; it lies silently within the sacred chambers of your heart.

It will save your career. It will energize your relationships. It will elevate your character. It will give you moral authority. It will send you clients. It will take your name in higher places – where money and brute force won’t – in the hearts of people.

Canon Farrar revealed; There is only one failure in life possible and that is – not being true to the best one knows. Make it a life rule to strengthen your image before friends and strangers by giving a little more, attention, energy, time and passion to the work you are doing. Your image is important to you and those that depend on you to get along.

You Don’t Have to Be a Slave – Make an Early Choice

What shortens the way to success is to make a wise choice while still full of life, energy, Hope and ambition. Choices are the foundation of success. You do not have to be a slave to a life purpose that does not inspire you (and you cannot even justify why you have to give so much of yourself and your precious time for); make an early choice (today if possible – and it is) of an incredible life purpose that you are proud of and which you want to be remembered for.

You will not succeed in what you haven’t chosen.

In making life choices, there is one general rule; Choose and follow. In other words, don’t follow where you haven’t chosen. Nothing is as exciting and satisfying as the certainty and evidence that we are daily drawing closer to our ultimate life goals and destiny in our lives. Choose a purpose that you are willing to suffer for, sacrifice for and whose achievement is worth the cost it taxed you.

You life is worth more than tears, sighs and curses. It is worth much more than pain, misery and aimless suffering. It is worth an energizing life purpose for which all daily toils are worth.

In today’s world and generation where the old definitions of performances, job security and excellence no longer apply, choosing and managing your aspirations and future options, just like managing your life, requires cautious, intensive and adequate preparation and planning.

Many people spend a lot of time waiting for other people to show up and tell them what is best for them.

While waiting, they forget that they should justify the direction that their lives are presently heading. All the time you spend waiting would be a resource in the right direction if you only knew how. Nature has given a priceless lesson to countless generations: an early bird catches the worm.

It seems that the “beginning one day late syndrome” is fast becoming the curse of this generation.

Everywhere, in everything, people seem to arrive one hour late, begin thirty minutes late, and decide three weeks late, mature ten years late, etc. the whole world is longing for that man or woman who will do things just in time. You can be that person.

Life lived without purpose is wasted.

You should take the advantage now and figure out what career you want. Let me remind you: when you choose a career that fits your natural abilities, you add yourself to the total sum of successful people who enjoy and love what they do. When you choose wrongly, you add yourself to the total sum of miserable people who hate what they do.

It is no doubt that an early choice has seen boys and girls lead the park – I’m talking about people who dominated their careers and put a mark on the page of human history. They inspired millions and bettered positions they had grace to occupy.

You don’t have to be a slave of an energy sucking life, Make an early choice of an inspiring life purpose and dedicate your time, money, energy and brains to actualize.
